Before applying the alloy, make sure the piece is free of rust, grease or layers of worn out metal.Plug the holder to the positive (inverse polarity) or AC; reducing amperage to a minimum.Proceed to deposit the material in straight line or in a short pattern (1" length max) to avoid theelectrode oscillation.Smash the deposit while hot.Cover it with lime or dry asbestus and allow the piece to cool down slowly
